"Chaplin", N & S Ch Softouch Little Big Man (Ch. Ronndal Zinedine Zidane - Ch. Softouch Peppar Peppar), pictured in Vilsta, Sweden, in July. He became Swedish champion a week after this show in Svenstavik. Chaplin is owned by Courtborne kennel in Norway. He has sired many beautiful puppies, the latest litter of 10 (!) puppies being born in England at Carol Osborne's Derohan kennel. Dam is Buebezi Exhibitionist.

Myös Joiku (S. Mohawk River) osallistui Hailuodon maastoihin ja juoksi hienosti 211 p. ja vaikka kadotti vieheen hetkeksi näkyvistä jatkoi maaliin saakka tappaen tunnollisesti "saaliinsa". Kuvat ovat hieman pieniä, mutta niistä välittyy silti hyisen tuulinen ilma, brrhh!

Joiku (S. Mohawk River) also participated at the Hailuoto lure-coursing trial. He ran well winning 211 points and even if he lost the lure for awhile, he continued to the end killing his "catch" enthusiastically. The cold and windy weather can almost be felt from the photos!

In August Pablo & Cilla (S. Hullabalooza & Hazelnut) debuted in a sighthound club show in Mustiala. The judge was Hanna Ukura of the famous Northgate's pharaoh hounds. Both did well: Cilla was BOB and Pablo BOS puppy.

Summary of the summer, part 3 - August in Svenstavik

In the beginning of August we travelled the long way to Svenstavik in Sweden. Three shows were scheduled: The Swedish Whippet Club's unofficial show with Inger Carlsson judging, sighthound show with Arne Foss judging and international show with Knut Blütecher judging. We had a great holiday meeting old and new friends and the results were not bad either!

Joanie was BIS at the whippet show, Best bitch nr. 5 the second day and on the third day she was third in open class with CQ.

World Show & Sighthound Specialty, Denmark, June 2010

In June we travelled to Denmark for a holiday and shows. The weather was lovely all the time and we spent some nice days in beautiful surroundings. First show was the sighthound specialty in Fredericia with Robert Paust, USA, judging.

At the World Show both Fjalle and Nipsu got EXC in their classes and Nipsu also made the cut among the seven best bitches in big junior class. Pippuri won the veteran bitches under Per Iversen, Norday, so becoming World Veteran Winner -10, and was chosen BOB veteran by Espen Engh, Norway. She also made the cut among the eight best veterans in the main ring under Philip John, India.
